Delhi Exposure Visit 2025: Learning Beyond Boundaries
From 5th to 7th June 2025, eight young participants (4 girls and 4 boys, aged 15–17 years) from the TUMI- PSD Community Cricket Program (CCP) embarked on an enriching Delhi Exposure Visit - a journey designed to blend learning, exploration, and personal growth.
Over the three days, the participants stepped out of their familiar environments and into a dynamic space of experiences that encouraged confidence, awareness, and leadership. It involved fun activities that helped break the ice and build energies within the group encouraging them to connect, collaborate, enhance communication skills and build confidence to set the stage for the subsequent sessions on community mapping, problem solving, indoor and outdoor leadership and gender awareness and inclusivity. Participants also experienced the joy of playing cricket through indoor net practice and a box cricket match in Delhi’s South Extension followed by reflections from the field that highlighted lessons on resilience and teamwork. A visit to the iconic Qutub Minar, India Gate, Shakti Sthal allowed the participants to explore India’s history, culture and experience and a taste of Delhi’s urban life as they travelled across the city in the Metro.
