Upamanyu completed his Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University, Tempe in 2018 and worked In Phoenix before returning to India. While in the US he travelled extensively in Arizona, Utah and California and connected with old friends while making new ones. He took his long time co traveler, his mother all over Arizona and the Zion National park in what was to be his last holiday and road trip with her. A major highlight of his time in the US was the adoption of his beloved dog Ella who accompanied him back all the way to India when he returned in late 2019.
