PSD- TUMI Exposure workshop in New Delhi

As part of our collaboration with Pro Sports Development an exposure trip of eight children from Bhubaneshwar Odisha was organized in New Delhi. These children – four boys and four girls – many of them stepping out of Bhubaneshwar for the first time in their lives, will form part of the Street Child Cricket World Cup (SCCWC) which is being held in Chennai in September 2023. This exposure visit was envisioned as a preparation for the Chennai matches and street children world child rights congress. In Delhi they attended workshops on gender, child rights, did field trips to organizations working with street children, had an opportunity to visit K9 school India where therapy dogs and security dogs are trained besides witnessing their first live cricket match and also playing a match at the sports complex of IIT Delhi.
